Albums to ride to

My husband and I share in taking our daughter to day care every week.
My days are Monday's and Friday's and when I am not taking her, I ride my bike to work.
I love my bike and I love my ride. We live along the waterfront, so my ride consists of me
dazing off at the water with music bringing me along the way.

Here are my Top five morning pics:
I did not write the album, because it really doesn't have to go down to that detail for me in the morning. It is all about the melody and voice (or lack there of).
1.) Joy Division
2.) Belle & Sebastian
3.) Led Zepplin
4.) Feist
5.) Modern Lovers

At the end of the day, it gets a little tricky. There are a lot more factors involved, you never know where the day is going to take you. I am going to leave it open ended right now and will come back to that one later. I also hear my girl calling me..sweet thing.

such a pretty day

As I was riding home from work today, listening to Beta Band - 3 EP's.  I was overjoyed with the beautiful weather and how lucky I am to live in the Bay Area. My bike ride is pretty stellar, it is all along the waterfront. I tried to give  a glimpse of how cool it is, but the pictures don't do it justice. Here is a perfect weekend ride:
a. start at the ramp, have brunch or lunch, maybe even a cold pint..it is a good place to start and is on the water, it will get you ready for the lovely ride. Follow Mariposa across Third St, at your next light on your right is The Ramp.
b. after brunch go down along the water towards Kelly's Mission Rock, stay along the water and not the road.
c. cut around the cove by the ball park and stay on the third street bridge crosswalk. i share it with pedestrians
d. cut around the ball park - backside - by the marina.
e. you will now enter the embarcadero, from here you can ride all along until you feel like you need to rest.
f. some good end zones are: ghiradelli sq, stop at the steps and watch tourists or turn left on bay street and follow until you get to crissy field.  You can also get to Crissy field by staying on the path past Ghiradelli Sq. You will go up a hill and through the park, a very nice way as well.

More bicycles
