Too funny
Sarah Easom illustration
It's always interesting to see the initial concept and final outcome. Im really into textile design lately, maybe today is the day to play with my tee juice pens. I really should start this now, since I only have a week left on my maternity leave. EEK! Then back to Levis with 4o+ hour work weeks and time with the bean & Nick. I will surely practice my time management skills for projects.
Fuji Rock Festival
Kids hanging out by the creek at the festival. Behind them is one of the A SEED recycling stations. This festival, put on by Smash Japan, is one of the greenest festivals around and is going on it's 9th year in the resort of Naeba.
Tents layered on the beautiful green landscape.
Next year we want to bring Ella. We feel from this photo, she will be ready to take it on.

Bicycle seat for Ella
I have started my search for the perfect bicycle seat for Ella. Even though she won't be ready to ride until the Spring, I feel that the search may take some time. It really doesn't get any better than Amsterdam, it is so wonderfully casual with riding your whole family on 2 wheels.
This is one of the seats I have found so far, I don't really understand the big plastic plate in the front of it though. I think they may be taking child safety a little too far.
I like this one
Eley Kishimoto SP/SU 09
I have just been introduced to this lovely design duo Wakato Kishimoto and Mark Eley, and have fallen in love with their use of color. I especially love the tights and knee socks.
Here is their website to check out more of their designs: www.eleykishimoto.com
Next project; tee juice dress
I love this dress, it is simple and comfy casual....I think I may be able to pull this off with using tee juice fatties. So, I decided to test them out, however on a completely different level. I drew little city blocks on my cords. Soon I shall do the real deal, just need to do a little prep first.
this is also after one wash, the ink held up pretty good.
Amazing color for Jonathan Saunders SP/SU09
I also wonder if the inspiration was from an old airline show at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, back in June 06.
